Client’s Menopause Weight loss& Lifestyle testimonial

My name is Amylyn and this is my experience during my transformation to end the yo yo diet cycle for good! Less than two years ago, I had a right foot and ankle total reconstruction with a replacement tendon surgery. As a high school teacher in a city school, I am constantly on my feet. I had symptoms in October but had to wait until summer break. On June 30, 2022. On my birthday, I started working with Lena on a new diet plan with healthy swaps and macros to gain muscle and lose fat. She created a plan using foods I liked and calculated a calorie deficit. She planned workouts with weights that I could do seated, I could t start didn’t start PT until October after returning to work in a full leg brace and crutches.

Later on in December, I asked Lena to create a bodybuilding split like I have done in the past as I have been lifting on and off since my mid 20’s. I lifted using progressive loading and ventured to the barbelll rack to squats and heavier lifts. I loved the progress on strength. Even through perimenopause symptoms, I was able to lose over 30 pounds in less than two years. I went from an XL dress, 16 jeans and XL top to a S/M top, 10 jeans and medium dress. This summer I am in a two piece bathing suit. I haven’t worn one since I was 16! Today I wore an tank top I’ve been holding on since my 20s to the gym today. 

I no longer have stomach pains from eating out, no more sugar cravings and choose protein first because I enjoy it. 

I have been able to increase my steps from 8,000 to 15,000 taking 4 mile walks some days when I can. Not to burn calories but because I enjoy it. I started the swat rack with the bar and now up to 160 pounds. Hack squat at 250 and leg extensions at 130. Strength and nutrition goals are what I can control, not the scale. The scale does not determine if I have a good or bad day! 

Lena was always available for me to figure out ways to change exercises and macros when my progress stalled or looking to try something new. 

She was always honest with me and helped me be honest with myself in order to become better. Always enthusiastically honest with my progress pics and helped get over body distorts issues which is common in any weight loss plan. 

There is never an “end” to a transformation. It is a lifestyle for the fountain of youth. All of this is possible. I will be 49 years young this August.

Check out my middle aged- Male client who lost 20 lbs and gained muscle and lost fat with a moderate pace progression. He lost 7% of his body fat and 4-6 lb of muscle mass! This client struggled to keep and maintain a healthy weight and often used extreme dieting methods to lose weight. He learned balance moderation and strength training. He saw physical and mental results! He was given a workout plan to strength train 3-5x per week with 1-2x per week in person training session with me and a Nutrition Meal plan. He says being consistent with me in person inspired him to change his overall lifestyle habits.
